IPS-Identity Provider™ is a Security Token Service that builds, signs, and issues security tokens for all IPS applications. It enables clients to verify the identity of the end-user based on the performed authentication, as well as to obtain basic profile information about the end-user in an interoperable and REST-like manner.

IPS-Identity Provider™ is based on .NET Core 3.x and IdentityServer4. It supports single sign-on/out over multiple application types. It issues access tokens for APIs for various types of clients. It is also Federation Gateway and supports external identity providers such as Azure Active Directory, ADFS, etc.
