August 2019: Following recent successful completion of Asset Performance Management (APMS) projects for both the TNB Transmission and Distribution Networks, IPS and TNB have now signed a further contract to implement an innovative CIM Network Model based Outage Management.

The project is focused on replacing in house made CTIS – Central Tripping Information System which is managing all unintentional tripping within TNB Transmission Grid.  Latest Innovative CIM based technology is used as Grid Digital Twin with advanced close to real time interfacing to all related system, will allows reduction of the costs by data processing, faster information and faster network restoration with automated notification and reporting.

This is further evidence of digitalization boosting productivity and flexibility being driven by the IPS-Global Group in continuing to supporting TNB and many other utilities around the world in digital transformation of the global energy industry with its advanced and specialized EAM (Enterprise Asset Management), Asset Performance Management (APM), Network Model Manager (NMM), Outage Management System (OMS) and many other Solutions available for the industry.
